アップルハードウェアの｢ガイド｣、つまり商品発表については

原則、出荷販売準備をすべて終えてから発表になります。

つまり発表した直後から買える。


ユーザーは商品が発表された瞬間が一番欲しいわけで、

最初に販売準備を終えておくことで、

商品発表(ガイド)から購入(リアクション)までの期間を極端に縮めています。


でも事前に商品発表を行うメーカーの都合からすると、

発表前に関わるたくさんの小売や関連メーカーから情報が漏れ

そこで異常な情報統制を取れるわけもなく、

事前に商品発表することで、小売の仕入れ都合や

ある程度のユーザーの反応と予約、適切な初期出荷数を読むことができて

在庫返品を減らし、商品をコントロールする意味で都合がいいわけです。

これは｢ユーザーの欲しい瞬間｣という満足度に合わせるか、

｢メーカーや小売の都合｣に合わせるかということですが、

裏を返すとアップルは、

ハードデザインもソフトデザインもユーザーの満足度に合わせてるから、

確実にユーザーが欲しがることを確信した販売であって、

家電メーカーは、

ハードデザインもソフトデザインもハイスペック多機能ボタン設計にする

事情やしがらみがあるため、

確実なヒットを確信できないための販売方法とも見れます。
